As a Tax Specialist in the Private Enterprise Tax practice, you'll excel in servicing clients' planning and compliance needs, participating in a broad range of tax-related work requiring qualitative and quantitative analysis and assessment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct research and analysis of tax issues, including assistance with structuring of domestic and international investments.
- Prepare corporate, partnership, trust, and personal tax returns.
- Prepare draft technical memos, instruction letters, and client reporting letters.
- Develop income tax models.
- Review corporate and personal tax returns.
- Review tax provisions for larger audit and non-audit clients.
- Interact with clients and team members.
- Assist senior staff members in corporate tax initiatives.
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years' experience in a public accounting firm.
- Completed undergraduate degree.
- Passed the CFE and obtained or in process of obtaining a CPA designation.
- Currently enrolled or willing to enroll in the In-Depth tax course.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrated leadership and team building skills.
- Strong time-management abilities and self-motivation.
- Demonstrates ability to handle multiple priorities.
- Keen to assist in tax planning strategies for clients.
- Excellent client service skills with an aptitude to understand clients' business and maintain strong client relationships.
