This exciting opportunity is based in Surrey, BC, and will play a key role in advancing initiatives within primary care in Urgent and Primary Care Centres, and Primary Care Networks across the region. About the Role As Director, Clinical Operations, you will be responsible for leading strategic and operational planning, integration, implementation, and delivery of a program/department/service. You will collaborate with physician, clinical, and support leaders to design, implement, and sustain an integrated clinical program that achieves Fraser Health's priority actions. Key Responsibilities • Lead strategic/operational planning, integration, implementation, and delivery of a program/department/service • Collaborate to communicate program/department/service needs and outcomes • Ensure program/department/service operate within approved financial mandate • Oversee development of policies and supports for integration and standardization of health programs/services • Ensure standardization of practice, quality, safety, and cost effectiveness • Represent the program/department/service in the health service community, civic/provincial governments, or others • Ensure performance management criteria form the basis of metrics for program and individual performance plans • Provide leadership to support engagement and respect through support of the well-being and safety of our people Qualifications • Master's level of education in a field related to health care management • Seven (7) to ten (10) years recent related, progressively responsible leadership experience • Demonstrated leadership practices of the Fraser Health Leadership Framework of Clear, Caring, and Courageous • Professional/Technical Capabilities: + Demonstrated leadership in roles to lead and move forward complex organizational change issues + Demonstrated leadership abilities to incorporate department/site needs within the broader context of the health delivery system + Demonstrated ability to work and lead within a matrix reporting structure + Sound working knowledge of planning concepts related to service delivery, budgetary, staffing, quality, and strategic initiatives + Proven presentation skills within a senior leadership capacity + Proven proficiency of leading practice in the field of healthcare leadership About Fraser Health Fraser Health is a leading healthcare provider in Metro Vancouver and the Fraser Valley, serving over two million people.
