Effective January 1st, 2024 the salary range for this position is $1,428.25 to $1,687.23 per week in compliance with OPSEU Unified Bargaining Unit collective agreement provisions. The new rates, effective retroactive to January 1, 2024, were recently confirmed and dates for implementation of the new salary rates are still to be determined.

We're seeking a skilled Corporate Correspondence Coordinator to join a team, who excels in research, writing, and editing.

In this role, your attention to detail will be crucial as you determine the nature and scope of the research needed to write your response and ensure accuracy and clarity in your messaging.

You'll have the opportunity to contribute to the development and implementation of unit correspondence processes and guidelines, showcasing your strategic thinking and communication skills.

What can I expect to do in this role?In this role you will be responsible for:

  • determining nature and scope of research required for correspondence materials
  • preparing responses to correspondence by writing, editing and proofreading copy in plain language, while maintaining accuracy
  • participating in the development, revision and implementation of unit correspondence processes, procedures, guidelines and tools
  • determining writing style, tone and approach suitable to client requirements and audience
  • recommending what briefing materials are required to provide information to Minister and senior managers on issues receiving media/public attention.
