Join our dynamic security risk management team dedicated to leveraging industry best practices and driving innovation in security risk assessments and modeling. As the primary stewards of our security strategy, we focus on identifying, tracking, and mitigating security risks across all aspects of our operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Define security risk management standards and playbooks for Canonical
  • Analyze and enhance security risk practices at Canonical
  • Evaluate, select, and implement new security tools and practices
  • Enhance thought leadership in security risk management
  • Create security risk learning materials
  • Collaborate with leadership to influence change
  • Develop risk and control indicators for various programs
  • Apply statistical models to risk frameworks
  • Lead quantified risk assessments and improve engineering processes
  • Translate cyber security risk analyses into actionable business insights
  • Monitor and enhance risk management processes
  • Implement security assessments and risk mitigation campaigns
  • Establish evaluation methods to measure security function efficiency

Desired Qualifications:

  • Outstanding academic background
  • Degree in Computer Science, STEM, or relevant field
  • Demonstrated drive and motivation in technology security
  • Strong leadership and management skills
  • Expertise in security assessments and risk management
  • Experience with threat modeling and security frameworks
  • Knowledge of Secure Development Lifecycle and Security by Design
