Palliative Care Physicians - Fraser Health

Palliative Care Physicians

Fraser Health is seeking compassionate part-time palliative care physicians to join our multidisciplinary team in Abbotsford, B.C.

About the Role

We are looking for physicians to provide clinical service in our Palliative Complex Care Unit (PCCU) and Holmberg House, as well as consultation services to acute care and community-based patients.

About Fraser Health

Fraser Health is the heart of health care for over two million people in diverse communities, delivering hospital and community-based services by a team of 48,000+ staff, medical staff and volunteers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical service in our Palliative Complex Care Unit (PCCU) and Holmberg House
  • Offer consultation services to acute care and community-based patients
  • Collaborate with our multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive palliative care services
Qualifications
  • Eligibility for medical licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of British Columbia
  • Certification from either the College of Family Physicians of Canada or the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada
  • Preference will be given to individuals who have completed additional training in Palliative Medicine
