SUSHI CHEF - Join Our Team
  • Prepare sushi dishes following food health and safety regulations
  • Cut, slice, and fillet various types of fish
  • Inspect quality of ingredients and inform Chef de Cuisine of sub-standard items
  • Follow guidelines on quality, portion size, presentation, and food safety
  • Maintain a clean work environment to prevent contamination
  • Take inventory of supplies and report equipment problems
  • Sterilize utensils before use and communicate with wait staff
Skills & Qualifications:
  • 5+ years' experience as a sushi chef
  • Must be proficient in cutting fish and making Nigiri and Sashimi
  • Attention to detail with a creative flair
  • Ability to work varied shifts
  • Follow oral and written instructions
  • Professionalism and teamwork
  • Food handler's license required
