About the Role

Cobalt Construction Inc is seeking a highly skilled Accounting Clerk to join our team in Whitehorse, Yukon. As a key member of our accounting team, you will be responsible for providing support to our accounting team to ensure the integrity and accuracy of financial information.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with data entry to meet semi-monthly payroll deadlines
  • Assist with data entry to ensure accounts payable invoices are correctly entered and job costed
  • Enter credit card data and perform monthly reconciliation to statements
  • Reconciliation of Petty Cash receipts
  • Filing
  • Filling in periodically for reception
Requirements
  • Experience with accounting data entry
  • Experience with Data input into Sage 50
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft suite of programs such as Excel, Word and Outlook
  • Ability to prioritize workload and adjust to shifting priorities
  • Ability to pay attention to detail information
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced dynamic environment
  • Ability to learn new accounting programs
