Crew Scheduler

PAL Airlines is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Crew Scheduler in St. John's, NL. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth scheduling of our flight crew, ensuring that our aircraft are properly staffed and that our passengers receive the best possible service.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Flight Crew Scheduling for company aircraft, ensuring proper coverage and minimizing disruptions
  • Manage sick leave, vacation requests, and shift trades to maintain optimal crew coverage
  • Coordinate classroom and sim training, adjusting schedules as needed
  • Work closely with operations management to ensure seamless schedule changes
  • Coordinate travel arrangements for training and crew positioning
  • Invoice and PO reconciliation to ensure accurate financial records
  • Attend weekly training meetings to stay up-to-date on company policies and procedures
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support the success of our operations team

Qualifications:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, with strong organizational and time management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively as a team member and independently
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Flexibility to work all shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, and adapt to fluctuations in shift times
