Health Promotion Coordinator

Job Summary: Health Promotion Coordinator responsible for developing and implementing wellness programs for Magna's employees in Canada and the United States.

Magna Wellness is a department of Magna International Inc., located in Aurora, Ontario. The purpose of the Magna Wellness division is to provide health and wellness education, health screening, and health activities within Magna's manufacturing facilities in Canada and the United States.
About the Role- Develop and implement wellness programs for Magna's employees in Canada and the United States
- Coordinate with Human Resources to plan timing of on-site visits and approve wellness content
- Prepare marketing materials, present materials, and produce aggregate reports to evaluate the effectiveness of the various wellness programs offered
- Prepare, organize, and maintain Microsoft-based presentations (PowerPoint, Word, Excel) using consistent standards and procedures
- Create innovative template designs and images as well as develop and maintain visual media library (images, videos, animations)
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Health Promotion Manager
- Health-related degree, particularly an undergraduate degree in kinesiology or health sciences
- Two or more years of related Health Promotions experience
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Microsoft Office products, Adobe Acrobat, Lotus Notes, Internet Explorer, Adobe Photoshop
- Working experience with Canva
- A team player with a positive and professional disposition
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to multi-task and work to tight deadlines
- Self-starter who requires minimal supervision
- Shift work is required to accommodate education sessions and presentations at manufacturing sites
- The Coordinator will be required to travel on a regular basis within Ontario, largely within the GTA, with some travel to more remote sites
