Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Operations Manager III to join our team at Walmart Canada. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for supervising daily distribution center (DC) operations, including scheduling, hiring, and training of DC associates.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee day-to-day DC functions in one of the following areas: receiving, order filling, or shipping.
  • Prioritize daily workflow to ensure customer requirements are met.
  • Plan and schedule DC personnel to ensure proper staffing for daily operations.
  • Conduct daily start-up meetings and organize daily assignments/workload to associates.
  • Train associates in the proper execution of standard operating procedures (SOP's).
  • Implement and ensure adherence to SOP's and verify accuracy and completeness of all records/documentation activities.
  • Maintain time and attendance, productivity, and quality records daily.
  • Prepare and generate daily productivity reports (TPR) or management.
  • Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPI's).
  • Participate in the selection of operation associates and implement departmental training and job rotation activities.
  • Administer performance management, including coaching's and accountability.
  • Promote a positive, inclusive work environment through effective communication and interpretation of company policies.

  • Age - 18 or older
