About the Role

The Production Project Leader will lead initiatives to enhance production processes, reduce costs, and improve quality, productivity, and timeliness of projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with production technicians and technical teams to analyze and improve production processes and equipment.
  • Manage resources to complete projects on schedule and develop contingency plans to minimize production impact.
  • Coordinate with production operations, engineering, and quality assurance teams to implement initiatives and meet business needs.
  • Install and commission production equipment, including completing operational qualifications (IQ/OQs).
  • Identify and recommend solutions for process improvements, reliability, and compliance.
  • Lead team members, consultants, and contractors in project execution, ensuring technical and regulatory compliance.
  • Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) for maintenance and operations.
  • Ensure compliance with current good manufacturing practices (cGMPs), SOPs, and safety standards.
Requirements
  • Post-secondary degree in engineering, sciences, or a related technical field, or equivalent combination of college diploma and project management experience.
  • Leadership ability, particularly in achieving outcomes through others and developing positive working relationships.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proven customer service, organizational, time management, and project management skills.
  • Excellent written and spoken English communication skills.
