Job Title: General Manager

Company: Cineplex Entertainment

Location: Edmonton

The General Manager is a key leadership role responsible for the effective operation of our Edmonton location. As a member of our senior management team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the success of our business by implementing company objectives, policies, and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a theatre team in a positive environment, demonstrating strong communication, organization, management, and leadership skills.
  • Develop and implement innovative sales and food service activities to drive business growth.
  • Manage staff supervision and field operations, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with the Home Office and various departments to achieve business objectives.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with outside vendors and clients.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 4 years experience as a manager in the restaurant or service industry.
  • A university degree or college diploma.
  • Strong financial acumen and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent computer aptitude and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrate a full understanding of provincial Health & Safety regulations.
  • A flexible schedule that includes evenings, weekends, and holidays.
