**Job Title: Executive Director, Total Portfolio Management**

**Job Summary:** Seeking an experienced Executive Director to lead the Total Portfolio Management function, overseeing the investment strategy and portfolio construction process for a $10B pension plan, with a focus on risk management and sustainable returns.

**Key Responsibilities:**

* Lead the Total Portfolio Management function, designing and implementing the investment strategy and portfolio construction process for the CIBC Pension Plan
* Provide leadership and technical support for investment analytics, risk management, and performance monitoring
* Develop and recommend asset mix allocations to the Chief Investment Officer, providing engineered outcomes based on competing objectives and constraints
* Conduct strategic ALM studies, quantitative modeling, scenario analysis, and qualitative assessment
* Provide ad-hoc analysis on potential asset mix changes and tactical tilts
* Develop dashboards and reports to identify and monitor key risk indicators, performance trends, and support the CIO's strategic and tactical investment decision making

**Requirements:**

* Minimum 10-15 years of experience in a large pension plan, endowment, investment/actuarial consultancy, or asset manager
* Undergraduate degree in business, actuarial science, finance, accounting, or equivalent combination of education and experience
* CFA, actuarial, or other relevant designations
* Expert knowledge of capital markets and public asset classes, including liquid alternatives
* Proven capabilities in running analytical functions
* Comprehensive understanding of pension plan and/or institutional investing
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Good organizational and time management skills to deal effectively with multiple time demands in tight timelines
