Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Actuarial Analyst III to join our Corporate Actuarial team at TD Bank Group. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in supporting the development and implementation of actuarial models and strategies that drive business growth and profitability.

Key Responsibilities
  • Actuarial Modeling and Analysis
    • Develop and maintain complex actuarial models to analyze and predict business outcomes
    • Conduct in-depth analysis of financial data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement actuarial strategies that drive business growth and profitability
  • Project Management
    • Lead and manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely completion and high-quality results
    • Develop and manage project plans, timelines, and budgets
    • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify project requirements and ensure successful project delivery
  • Stakeholder Management
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including business leaders, actuaries, and other technical experts
    • Communicate complex actuarial concepts and results to non-technical stakeholders
    • Provide expert advice and guidance to stakeholders on actuarial matters
  • Professional Development
    • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments in actuarial science
    • Participate in professional development opportunities, including training and conferences
    • Share knowledge and expertise with colleagues to drive continuous improvement and innovation
Requirements
  • Education
    • Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science or a related field
  • Experience
    • Minimum 5 years of experience in actuarial analysis and modeling
    • Experience in corporate actuarial or a related field is an asset
  • Skills
    • Advanced knowledge of actuarial models and techniques
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously
