St. Paul offers education in both public and separate division as well as a Francophone option. Ecole Du Sommet provides French language education for Grades K to 12, through the East Central Francophone Education Regional Division. Glen Avon Protestant School provides education for Grades K to 9, and St. Paul Regional School provides education for Grades 10 to 12. Post-secondary programs and courses are available through the Portage College and Blue Quills First Nations College.

St. Paul boasts the world's first UFO landing pad. A new UFO tourist information centre is now located next to the UFO landing pad and is operated by the Chamber of Commerce.

Provide physician services in primary care, emergency department, acute care, extended care, and anesthesia services.

The successful candidate is recruited for the community of St. Paul.

The successful candidate may choose to operate their business by joining an existing practice or by opening their own practice. This is the candidate's business choice and will not be managed through the recruitment process.

Duties include, but not be limited to:

  • Reside in and have as his/her primary residence in the community of St. Paul.
  • Establish and maintain a full-time community based practice within the community
  • Provide call support as per call schedules, including full-time participation in the Emergency Department and Anesthesia call schedules are required.
  • Contribute to and participate in teaching programs and activities; interest in management.
  • Contribute to and participate in other administrative duties as assigned.

    Qualifications
  • Diploma in Anesthetics, with a minimum of 6 months pre & post diploma experience.
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS)
CCFP
CCFP-EM
Geriatrics

Candidate must have Emergency Room & Acute Care Hospital Experience in Rural setting within the past 1-2 years. Experience in offering these services as the sole provider required.

Preference will be given to applicants who do not require, or have completed, the CPSA Practice Readiness Assessment (PRA-AB).
