We are a passionate team aspiring to make compelling experiences, rich in story, emotion, immersion and meaningful game play.

We are seeking a Game Developer to work alongside our team on an unannounced title. The ideal candidate will be highly motivated, passionate about gaming, and is able to effectively communicate with the team, has an ability to understand others' vision, and turn it into reality.

The Game Developer will be responsible for working on core game mechanics, tools and infrastructure, and providing valuable insight into all aspects of the game production process.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

The candidate's primary responsibilities will include:

Collaborate with a team of producers, artists, and programmers from concept to deployment of a game product to bring the team's vision to reality

Design and write clean, readable code

Optimize performance issues, and be proactive to avoid potential obstacles

Manage timelines and provide accurate estimates for tasks required for scheduling purposes

Research new technologies and eager to learn new tools ad hoc as needed

Bug fixing, maintenance and optimization

Rapid prototyping

Experience implementing games using Photon Bolt/PUN

REQUIREMENTS:

To qualify for the position, the successful candidate must possess the following skills:

Minimum 5 years' experience working on games as a game programmer

Minimum 3+ years of experience with Unity and/or Unreal engine

Knowledge and experience in both 2D and 3D game development

Understanding of current mobile device networking, memory management, security and performance capabilities

Ability to independently design, write and maintain high quality code

Passion, curiosity and strong knowledge for games and mobile applications

Ability to work under pressure, strong organization, attention to detail and great documentation skills

Has implemented saved game data, like player progress, in a structured and extensible format like JSON or XML

Has at least 3 published games in a portfolio for assessment

C# and C++ experience

At least 4 professional references

Must provide code samples with application

Other skills that are highly regarded include:

Multiplayer experience

Photon Bolt and Quantum experience

Experience interfacing with RESTful HTTP data services for things like authentication, player data, etc.

Has implemented analytics or other BA tools into a game

Experience with Game Analytics
