Seeking experienced Environmental Project Manager to coordinate and manage environmental site assessment and remediation projects across BC, with a focus on contaminated sites and reclamation.

The Environmental Project Manager will be responsible for:

  • Client communication and coordination
  • Preparing work plans and cost estimates
  • Managing remediation and reclamation environmental field work programs
  • Assisting in proposal preparation and execution
  • Mentoring and training staff to ensure safe and correct work practices
  • Reviewing and signing off on technical reports
  • Liaising with regulators, contractors, and other third parties
  • Preparing and issuing invoices to clients
  • Maintaining billable targets
  • Undertaking occasional travel to various destinations
  • Providing excellent service to internal and external clients

The ideal candidate will have:

  • 8+ years of relevant experience in contaminated sites, reclamation, and natural sciences in BC, with 5+ years of project management experience
  • Technical diploma or degree in a related discipline
  • Recognized accredited professional designation (e.g., P.Eng, P.Geo, P.Chem, P.Ag.) or ability to acquire one
  • Extensive knowledge of BCER Regulations
  • Experience managing technically complex projects and overseeing cost controls
  • Excellent communication, technical writing, and problem-solving skills
  • Commitment to safety
