Instrumentation/Electrical Technician Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Instrumentation/Electrical Technician to maintain the integrity of site equipment, install and repair electrical systems, and support operations in troubleshooting technical automation issues.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain the Instrumentation and Electrical integrity of all site equipment.
  • Install, repair, and replace Instrumentation & Electrical equipment as needed.
  • Coordinate and execute PM programs on controls and instrumentation.
  • Support operations in basic troubleshooting of technical automation issues.
  • Provide afterhours support for control/instrumentation issues.
  • Assist in plant start-up and troubleshooting.
  • Execute PM program for field instrumentation, boiler system, and interlocks.
  • Understand basic technical automation to support operations in troubleshooting, optimization, and training.
  • Obtain instructions from the SAP Work Order system and input data and close work orders.
  • Perform in accordance with safe operating procedures and housekeeping standards.
Requirements:
  • Must be a ticketed 309A or 442A Electrical Journeyman.
  • Must become certified in the operation of all necessary lifting devices.
