- Select and purchase equipment and supplies
- Plan and co-ordinate activities of housekeeping supervisors and crews
- Supervise staff to ensure tasks are completed efficiently
- Maintain accurate financial records
- Co-ordinate maintenance and repair services
- Hire and dismiss staff as needed
