Folietta, a new Italian restaurant concept, is seeking a skilled Bar Manager to lead our team. Located in Vancouver's Nanaimo and Grant neighborhood, we're looking for a candidate with a passion for Italian food, cocktails, and spirits.

Job Summary

We're seeking a Bar Manager who can nurture a culture of collaboration, deliver high-quality products, and provide an exceptional dining experience. The ideal candidate will have a strong knowledge of craft cocktails, Italian spirits, and Amari, as well as excellent interpersonal skills and a customer service focus.

Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of bartenders, providing training, coaching, and development opportunities.
  • Develop and implement innovative products, methods, and drinks that meet our brand standards.
  • Execute drinks to the highest quality and service standards, maintaining a fast pace of service.
  • Protect the restaurant and guests by complying with sanitation, safety, and alcohol beverage control policies.
  • Drive sales, support team members, and ensure the bar is filled with customers.
  • Control liquor, wine, and beer costs through weekly inventory and ordering systems.
Requirements
  • A post-secondary degree in business management or hospitality, with valid BC Serving it Right Certification.
  • Prior experience in the restaurant industry, with proven management and coaching skills.
  • Strong knowledge of craft cocktails, Italian spirits, and Amari.
  • Ability to work varied hours and maintain a high energy level.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with a customer service focus and quality orientation.
