Drone Delivery Canada (DDC) is a pioneering technology company focused on designing and implementing commercially viable drone-based logistics systems for global customers.

As a member of our flight crew, you will be led by the Pilot in Command and be responsible for coordinating with the PIC and Visual observer during flight operations.

Key responsibilities include visually monitoring the flight of the RPAS, assisting with the deployment and setup of the RPAS, and assisting with the inspection of the RPAS.

Requirements include a Transport Canada Small Remotely Piloted Aircraft System (RPAS), Visual line-of-sight (VLOS) Pilot Certificate – Advanced operations, knowledge of operating procedures and emergency procedures, and experience flying RC multirotor RPAS in angle flight mode.

Work environment includes full-time shifts from Monday to Friday, 8 hours per day, with a valid Class G Driver Licence in good standing and regular access to a personal vehicle required.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate with the PIC and Visual observer during flight operations
  • Visually monitor flight of RPAS while in autopilot mode and be prepared to take over manual control if advised by PIC or other safety issue arises
  • Assist with the deployment and setup of the RPAS
  • Assist with the inspection of the RPAS
  • Manually fly RPAS to verify proper flight performance if required
Requirements:
  • Transport Canada Small Remotely Piloted Aircraft System (RPAS), Visual line-of-sight (VLOS) Pilot Certificate – Advanced operations
  • Knowledge of operating procedures and emergency procedures
  • Experience flying RC multirotor RPAS in angle flight mode
  • Model Aeronautics Association of Canada (MAAC) membership is an asset
Work Environment:
