Aquanty Inc. is seeking a skilled Numerical Modelling Specialist to join our team in a dynamic and growing environment. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality project outcomes, including reporting, data processing, GIS analysis, hydrostratigraphic interpretation, 3D model construction, numerical model setup, and simulation.
Key Responsibilities- Project Management and Reporting: Develop and maintain project plans, track progress, and deliver high-quality reports to stakeholders.
- Data Processing and Analysis: Process and analyze large datasets, including hydrogeological and hydrological data, to inform numerical model development.
- GIS and Hydrostratigraphic Interpretation: Apply GIS skills to analyze and interpret hydrostratigraphic data, and develop 3D models to support numerical modelling.
- Numerical Model Development and Simulation: Set up and run numerical models using industry-standard software, such as HydroGeoSphere, FEFLOW, MODFLOW, and HecRas.
- Desired Skill Set:
- Project management and report writing experience
- Familiarity with scripting languages (e.g., R, Python)
- Experience with GIS and spatial analysis
- Background in hydrogeology and hydrology, or related fields
- Experience with numerical modelling and simulation
