About the Role
As a Site Procurement Manager at Amazon, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our fulfillment centers. You will be responsible for managing the site's indirect procurement operations, including vendor management, purchase order management, and inventory management. Your expertise will be essential in driving efficiencies and improvements at the site level.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide procurement operations support for the fulfillment center, including supplier management, noninventory labor, flow, and space models, cycle counts, inventory management, and procurement transaction and expediting support.
  • Support ProcuretoPay execution and local sourcing activities as needed.
  • Lead and develop a team of noninventory associates to ensure the building has adequate resources and is set up for success.
  • Develop deep knowledge of noninventory items and align with like buildings to drive best practices.
  • Ensure compliance with network KPIs and produce regular reporting to drive improvements for the Operations network.
  • Provide insight when spend is exceeded and collaborate with centralized Procurement functions to add funds to POs.
  • Drive compliance of site audits, supplier scorecard, and other centralized tracking mechanisms.
  • Ensure site stakeholders are trained in Coupa and Payee Central tools.
  • Be the autonomous point of contact for 3rd party vendor escalations on site for janitorial services, waste management, food and PPE vending, pallets management, pest control, snow removal, and landscaping.
  • Manage relationships with all stakeholders, including GMs/Site Leader, Snr Ops Managers, OMs, AMs, HRM, LPMs, WHS Manager, Learning Manager, and RME Managers.
  • Ensure compliance with people management-related KPIs of the noninventory team.
  • Manage and drive safety compliance for noninventory teams during day-to-day activities and partner with regional/local safety teams for safety issues and escalations at the site level.
  • Develop relationships across the building and network to ensure best practices are being shared and implemented.
  • Using input from the category team, build the category metrics model to track and monitor performance in relation to the category strategy, such as supplier scorecard and other site audits on 3P services.
  • Work in partnership both internally in a complex matrixed organization and with external suppliers to develop solutions to provide Procurement support to the Operations network. Internal stakeholders supported in the execution of their initiatives are the centralized Site Procurement team (SPOC) and Global Procurement Organization (GPO) Pillars.
  • Support central Procurement functions in demand identification, procurement, and inventory management of all non-merchandise items required for building operation, including corrugate, packing materials, labor, and janitorial services.
  • Partner with AP, Suppliers, and various internal teams to ensure timely resolution of vendor payment issues.
Requirements
  • 1+ years of Excel or Tableau experience (data manipulation, macros, charts, and pivot tables)
  • 1+ years of employee and performance management experience
  • 3+ years of supply chain experience
  • 3+ years of supply chain operations experience
  • Bachelor's degree or 2+ years of Amazon (blue badge/FTE) experience
  • Experience with supplier or vendor relationship management
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in procurement
  • Experience in Coupa or other financial management/procurement software
