You will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our business by sourcing suppliers, negotiating contracts, and managing the entire procurement process.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and Implement Procurement Strategies: Develop and implement procurement strategies that align with the company's objectives and requirements.
  • Supplier Sourcing and Evaluation: Source, select, and evaluate suppliers based on quality, price, delivery capabilities, and overall performance.
  • Negotiate Contracts: Negotiate favorable terms, conditions, and pricing with suppliers to maximize value for the company.
  • Purchase Order Management: Prepare and issue purchase orders, ensuring accuracy and compliance with internal policies and procedures.
  • Order Tracking and Resolution: Monitor and track order status to ensure on-time delivery, and resolve any delivery or quality issues that may arise.
  • Supplier Relationship Management: Maintain strong relationships with suppliers, managing supplier performance, and conducting regular supplier evaluations.
  • Industry Research and Analysis: Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and new product developments to identify potential cost savings or improvement opportunities.
  • Collaboration with Internal Stakeholders: Collaborate with internal stakeholders, such as the finance department, to ensure proper budgeting, cost control, and adherence to procurement policies.
  • Market Research and Supplier Identification: Conduct regular market research to identify new suppliers, products, and technologies that may benefit the company.
  • Procurement Record Keeping: Maintain accurate procurement records and documentation, including supplier contracts, purchase orders, and other relevant information.
  • Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and ethical standards in all procurement activities.
  • Process Optimization: Continuously analyze and optimize the procurement process to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
Requirements:
  • Education: College diploma in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • Experience: Proven experience as a Procurement Officer or similar role, preferably in the industry.
  • Knowledge and Skills: Strong knowledge of procurement principles, practices, and procedures. Proficient in sourcing and evaluating suppliers, negotiating contracts, and managing the procurement process.
  • Personal Qualities: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to establish effective relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Attention to detail and high level of accuracy in procurement activities. Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office suite.
