Sales Engineer

Overview:

As a Sales Engineer at Geosource Energy, you will be pivotal in driving the promotion and sales of our geoexchange technology. Your role will encompass a wide range of responsibilities, including external communication, internal and external coordination, proposal development, CRM administration, and more. You'll play a crucial part in enhancing our sales strategies, improving processes, and expanding our market presence in the geothermal sector.

Responsibilities:

1. Lead Generation: Utilize networking platforms such as LinkedIn and participate in social media activities to generate leads and expand the client base.

2. Industry Representation: Represent Geosource Energy at industry events, conferences, and trade shows, fostering connections and raising brand awareness.

3. External Communication: Initiate and conduct exploratory meetings with potential clients, engaging in effective email correspondence to nurture relationships and explore opportunities.

4. Coordination: Handle the coordination of both internal and external communications, including sending and responding to Requests for Information (RFI) and Requests for Quotation (RFQ).

4. Proposal Writing and Enhancement: Take the lead in crafting compelling proposals and continuously improve proposal templates to enhance effectiveness and efficiency.

5. Excel Proficiency: Utilize Excel for technical modeling and the development of proforma tools to support sales efforts and provide valuable insights.

6. CRM Administration: Maintain and update records in the CRM system, ensuring accuracy and completeness of data to facilitate smooth sales operations.

7. Presentation Skills: Deliver engaging presentations for Lunch & Learn sessions and Geothermal 101 sessions, showcasing Geosource Energy's offerings and industry expertise.

8. Collateral Material Support: Assist in the generation of collateral materials to support sales activities, including brochures, presentations, and case studies.

9. Solution Generation: Collaborate with internal Project Management and Engineering teams to develop optimal geothermal solutions tailored to client needs.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, sustainability, or a related field.

2. Demonstrated experience in sales coordination, preferably within the geothermal or renewable energy domain.

3. Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with a talent for fostering strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders.

4. Proficiency in CRM software, Microsoft Office suite, and sales analytics tools.

5. Outstanding organizational abilities, adept at prioritizing tasks, managing multiple projects concurrently, and meeting deadlines.

6. Technical acumen and familiarity with geothermal systems, energy efficiency, and sustainable technologies are advantageous.

7. Meticulous attention to detail and a dedication to delivering top-notch work with a customer-centric approach.

8. Ability to thrive both independently and as part of a collaborative team, showcasing initiative, innovation, and a results-driven mindset.
