The North America Food Away From home team is looking for a Strategic Business Manager to join the team on a 12-month contract; this role is based out of Mississauga, ON. The Strategic Business Manager leads Food Away from Home sales enablement initiatives to deliver McCormick growth goals across North America. This role will serve as the primary business liaison and counterpart for our Non-Commercial (US & Canada) and Canadian sales teams and internal functions, such as marketing, finance, supply chain and more. This role will also be the day to day business lead on our critical sales pipeline platform, Salesforce, working closely with IT and sales to keep current & working optimally. The position should be able to execute with excellence, develop strong cross-functional partnerships and communication, and think critically to continuously optimize our sales and internal processes.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Translate brand, category and market trends into actionable business observations and recommendations for sales teams.

· Provide analytical support to the business, driving annual business plans, customer opportunities and trade strategies.

· Lead day to day business input and strategic direction on sales pipeline technology, Salesforce, in partnership with IT and Sales

· Support Non-Commercial & Canadian sales pipeline through project engagement and Salesforce oversight.

· Manage inbound communication and requests from sales field; identify and communication solutions & processes. Develop new processes to enable sales as needed

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

· Bachelor's Degree in Business Management, Sales, Marketing, Finance or related field

· 5 years' experience in sales, finance, marketing, or business management

· 2 years analytical experience building fact-based recommendation or direct selling experience to customers

· Proven experience in working with Salesforce system in sales-led environment

· Independent, goal-oriented self-starter capable of contributing to strategies and driving programs.

· Must have proven skills to adapt to and communicate with a wide variety of personalities and business settings as the role involves frequent interactions with cross-functional partners, sales leadership, and field sales teams.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

· Category Management experience preferred

· Foodservice business industry experience a plus

· Experience as business lead/partner for Salesforce application

· North American business experience (Canada & US)

· MBA
