Occupational Therapist Job Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our team in Ajax, working with clients suffering from acute and chronic workplace injuries.

About the Role

This is a temporary full-time position, 37.5 hours per week, with a salary range of $51.22 per hour. The successful candidate will work on-site, reporting to the Site Manager.

Key Responsibilities
  • Empower and support clients through their recovery, applying hands-on knowledge, skills, and abilities in the treatment of orthopedic disorders, chronic pain, and rehabilitation and return to work of injured workers.
  • Treat clients and enable them to reach their fully functional and work reintegration potential in collaboration with all stakeholders.
  • Perform cross-functional duties and cross-site duties, as assigned or requested.
Requirements
  • Occupational Therapist registered with the College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario.
  • A minimum of two years related experience in the treatment of clients/patients with work-related injuries and/or experience in the third-party health care system, with strong FAE and Return to Work planning skills.
  • WorkWell certification preferred but not essential.
  • Experience with report writing is an asset.
  • Hand therapy experience is an asset.
