Job SummaryWe're seeking an energetic and creative business leader to join our Canadian HR Leadership team as Vice President of Communications. As tre he right-hand person to our Chief People & CultuOfficer (CPCO), you'll play a pivotal role in shaping our company's narrative and employee experience, directly supporting the overall business strategy. If you were to come on board as a Vice President, Communications, we'd ask you to do the following for us:
- Develop and build on a comprehensive communication strategy that aligns with the company's overall business objectives.
- Bring a field first and operations mindset to managing outcomes in a complex and matrixed organization.
- Communicate effectively during periods of change to minimize disruption and maintain stakeholder trust.
- Build and maintain positive media relations and public relations crisis to ensure consistent, accurate, and timely coverage of the company.
- Protect the company's reputation by proactively addressing key issues and promoting positive storytelling. Lead a team of communications professionals, providing guidance, direction, and mentorship while fostering an including culture that reflects the company's diversity and values.
- Overall accountability for our corporate recognition programs - including program management, associate communications and event planning.
- Monitor and analyze data to measure the effectiveness of communications and recognition initiatives and make data-driven decisions and enhancements.

- You are an experienced leader within Communications/PR/Marketing and have a passion for sharing stories of the company's business and values through various channels.
- Bachelor's degree in communications, Marketing, Journalism or equivalent work experience.
- Minimum 10 years of progressive experience in preferable in a matrixed organization.
- Strong presentation, writing, and content writing skills.
- Proven ability to think strategically and drive results-oriented initiatives through complexity.
- Understand and navigate public policy issues that impact the company's operations or reputation.
