Opérateur de production

Poste situé à: Saint-Hyacinthe, Québec

Quart de travail: Nuit

Principales responsabilités et activités:

  • Comprendre et se conformer aux procédures de la société en ce qui concerne la santé, la sécurité et l'environnement.
  • Utiliser une station de marquage laser, laser/jet d'encre ou d'identification électronique pour marquer les étiquettes d'identification du bétail conformément au mode opératoire normalisé.
  • Former les nouveaux employés dans un système de jumelage pour effectuer des tâches à tous les niveaux inférieurs au niveau pour lequel l'opérateur laser a été qualifié.
  • Effectuer le marquage des étiquettes d'identification du bétail qui répondent aux besoins de l'ingénierie et des clients.
  • Surveiller et prendre des mesures rapidement, y compris l'arrêt temporaire du poste de travail, lorsque des dysfonctionnements opérationnels sont observés qui pourraient compromettre la qualité des étiquettes produites. Lorsque le poste de travail est arrêté, prendre des mesures rapidement pour obtenir de l'aide pour corriger le dysfonctionnement et remettre le poste de travail en marche dans les plus brefs délais.
  • Être en mesure de maintenir une production quotidienne nécessaire et acceptable telle qu'elle a été établie selon la tâche accomplie et la machine utilisée.

Compétences requises:

  • Expérience dans l'utilisation d'un ordinateur de bureau, y compris la capacité de faire fonctionner une souris et d'extraire un fichier et de démontrer sa capacité à acquérir de nouvelles compétences informatiques de base.
  • Maîtrise des compétences de base en mathématiques telles que compter, de traiter les chiffres, d'additionner et de soustraire.
  • Un diplôme d'études secondaires ou l'équivalent est requis.

We work in the local plant connected to our global manufacturing network to ensure the highest quality of raw materials, intermediates and finished products.

Production Operator

Position location: Saint-Hyacinthe, Quebec

Shift: Night shift

Major Activities and Responsibilities:

  • Understand and comply with Company's procedures with regards to heath, safety and environment.
  • Run a laser, laser/ink jet or electronic identification marking station to mark Livestock identification tags as per standard operating procedure.
  • Train new employees in a buddy system training operation to perform tasks at all levels below the level for which the laser operator has been qualified.
  • Accomplish the marking of Livestock identification tags which meet engineering and customer needs.
  • Watch for and take prompt action, including shutting down the work-station temporarily, when operational malfunctions are seen which could jeopardize the quality of the tags being produced. When the work-station is shut down, prompt action will be taken to secure help in correcting the malfunction and getting the work-station back up and running in as short a time as possible.
  • Be able to maintain a needed and acceptable daily output as established by the job and machine worked on.

Qualifications:

  • Experience in operating a computer, including an ability to operate a mouse, pull a file and demonstrate ability to learn new basic computer skills.
  • Proficiency in basic math skills such as able to count, handle numbers, add and subtract.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
