Salary: $24-$36/hour, dependent on previous work-term experience

Join a team that values growth, collaboration, and innovation. As a member of the Health, Safety, Sustainability and Environment Team, you will contribute to the prevention, management, and mitigation of environmental impacts associated with ATCO Electric's operations.

Responsibilities: Assessment, Remediation and Reclamation:
  • Assist with tendering contracts for environmental site assessments and remediation reports
  • Provide administrative and technical review of remediation and reclamation reports
  • Manage consultants and contractors to ensure environmental work is completed on time and on budget
  • Prepare request for proposal documents and provide technical and financial evaluations
  • Provide scheduling and cost estimates for assessment and remediation projects
  • Conduct information searches on environmental matters
Governance:
  • Develop and implement Environmental Management System documents and policies
  • Stay current in government and industry standards and changes
Group Support:
  • Assist with environmental activities such as orientation, training, audits, and liaison with regulatory agencies
  • Other duties as required
