Job Description: We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Personal Insurance Advisor to join our team at BrokerLink, working out of our Kapuskasing office.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Service ongoing client needs, advise on insurance matters, conduct needs assessments, recommend solutions, and answer inquiries.
  • Sell new policies and retain existing business through proactive outreach and exceptional customer service.
  • Quote new business, process renewals, and maintain accurate records.
  • Collaborate with underwriters and adjusters to discuss policy guidelines and workflow processes.
  • Prepare documentation for insurers, complete applications, and issue insurance certificates.
  • Stay up-to-date on underwriting rules and workflow processes.
  • Participate in training initiatives and community marketing efforts.
  • Process account receivable activities and provide guidance as needed.

Requirements:

  • High School and/or Post-Secondary Education.
  • Minimum of 3 years Personal Insurance experience preferred.
  • RIBO License preferred.
  • Exposure to Epic is an asset.
  • Strong customer focus, analytical, and organizational skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to pass a criminal background check and credit check.
