Join our team at Saskatoon City Hospital as a Staff Occupational Therapist in the General Rehab Specialty Clinic - Kinetik. As an integral member of the Interdisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in the evaluation, physical reconditioning, and rehabilitation of clients with musculoskeletal injuries and hand and upper extremity rehabilitation.

Job Summary

The Staff Occupational Therapist will be responsible for:

  • Evaluating clients to identify their needs and goals
  • Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans
  • Providing physical reconditioning, work hardening, and functional activity simulation
  • Assisting clients with vocational reintegration and education
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor of Occupational Therapy degree
  • A valid Class 5 driver's license
  • A Basic Life Support Certificate (BLS)
Competencies

We are looking for a candidate with:

  • Advanced communication skills
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a multi-disciplinary team
  • The ability to develop, evaluate, and modify programming provided to clients
  • The ability to be flexible and willing to change
Preferred Qualifications

We prefer candidates who are:

  • Registered/eligible with the Saskatchewan Society of Occupational Therapists
  • Registered/eligible with the Canadian Association of Occupational Therapy (CAOT)
  • HSAS members as per the SAHO/HSAS Collective Agreement
