Job Position

Servers

  1. Greet and seat guests, providing them with menus and explaining daily specials.
  2. Take food and beverage orders, ensure accuracy, and offer menu recommendations.
  3. Deliver orders promptly and accurately to guests, addressing any special requests.
  4. Attend to guest needs, refill drinks, and ensure a pleasant dining experience.
  5. Present checks, process payments, and thank guests for their patronage.
  6. Maintain a clean and organized work area, including setting and clearing tables.
  7. Collaborate with kitchen and bar staff to coordinate the timing of food and drinks.
  8. Describe menu items and answer questions about ingredients and preparation methods.
  9. Address guest inquiries, concerns, and dietary restrictions with professionalism.
  10. Promote special promotions, up-sell appetizers, desserts, and drinks.
  11. Handle guest feedback, whether positive or negative, with grace and courtesy.
  12. Comply with safety and sanitation guidelines, including food safety practices.
  13. Assist in setting up and breaking down tables, chairs, and dining areas.
  14. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient and smooth service.
  15. Upsell wine, cocktails, and other beverages to enhance the dining experience.
  16. Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor at all times.
  17. Attend regular staff meetings and training sessions.
  18. Stay updated on menu changes, ingredients, and daily specials.
  19. Relay special requests and dietary restrictions to the kitchen.
  20. Contribute to creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere to enhance guest satisfaction.
Requirements
  • Minimum 2-year experience in a Server role in Fine Dining or Casual-Fine Dining
  • Knowledge of food and beverage (Knowledge in Asian Cuisine is an asset)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • The ability to think on your feet in fast-paced environments
  • Flexibility and adaptability
  • Experience in Touch Bistro is an asset
  • WSET in Wine or Sake is an asset
  • Work Permit
