Job Description

Travaillant au sein de l'équipe des Placements privés internationaux de la CDPQ à Montréal, la personne retenue pour ce poste fera partie intégrante de l'équipe responsable des transactions, qu'elle appuiera pour les opérations d'acquisition par emprunt et la surveillance des sociétés en portefeuille. Elle aura la possibilité de s'épanouir au sein d'un environnement collaboratif plutôt informel et d'une culture dynamique de personnes performantes. Le ou la titulaire du poste devra pouvoir collaborer avec des analystes détenant moins d'expérience, mais aussi les diriger au besoin.

Par conséquent, la personne retenue devra démontrer qu'elle maîtrise les compétences exigées des analystes et qu'elle a une expérience, une maturité et une pensée critique suffisantes pour commencer à gérer et à coordonner différents flux de travail avec des parties internes et externes.

Ce que vous ferez
  • Participer à l'évaluation des occasions d'investissement et de matérialisations d'investissements matures en contribuant à la préparation des analyses préliminaires et des documents de recommandation d'investissement/désinvestissement;
  • Appuyer les directeur.rice.s en effectuant avec rigueur des modélisations financières, des analyses d'évaluation et des examens des modèles d'affaires;
  • Contribuer à la préparation de rapports internes dans le respect des échéanciers et s'assurer que les mises à jour sont faites;
  • Examiner de façon exhaustive les rapports financiers des entreprises, établir des comparables représentatifs du marché et en effectuer une analyse détaillée;
  • Appuyer les directeur.rice.s dans la préparation et l'organisation des différentes discussions et rencontres avec les partenaires, tant à l'intérieur qu'à l'extérieur de la CDPQ;
  • Mener systématiquement des recherches approfondies sur la situation et les tendances des secteurs d'activité suivis : suivre l'actualité de façon proactive et recueillir des renseignements auprès de sources clés;
  • Assurer une coordination avec les conseiller.ère.s externes et effectuer un suivi rigoureux sur les flux de travail simultanés durant les processus en temps réel;
  • Coordonner et aider à gérer les équipes internes de la CDPQ qui travailleront aux côtés de l'équipe des Placements privés de la CDPQ (p. ex. Fiscalité, facteurs ESG et Affaires juridiques);
  • Examiner le travail et les analyses (Excel et PowerPoint) qui sont exigés des analystes et y participer;
  • Appuyer activement la préparation des études et des analyses portant sur des cibles potentielles ou des créneaux de marché que l'équipe souhaite explorer et expliquer les principaux points aux directeur.rice.s;
  • Produire des analyses à valeur ajoutée pour les sociétés en portefeuille suivies par l'analyste principal.e en conseillant les directeur.rice.s sur les grandes tendances du marché et les changements opérationnels et en produisant les documents d'examen des sociétés en portefeuille requis pour la surveillance interne de la CDPQ.

Ce que vous apportez
  • Minimum de 4 à 5 ans d'expérience dans les services bancaires d'investissement ou les placements privés ;
  • Un diplôme de premier cycle en finance, en économie ou en comptabilité est considéré comme un atout ;
  • Une combinaison équivalente de scolarité et d'expérience pourra être prise en considération.
  • Excellentes habiletés en analyse financière, en particulier dans le domaine de la modélisation de l'acquisition par emprunt ;
  • Excellente maîtrise d'Excel et de Powerpoint ;
  • Prêt à voyager à l'étranger ;
  • Bilinguisme, soit une maîtrise du français et de l'anglais, autant à l'oral qu'à l'écrit*
