We are seeking a meticulous QA Analyst to join our team. The QA Analyst will be responsible for ensuring the quality and functionality of our software products through rigorous testing and analysis. This role will specifically be focused on our people analytics solution, so experience with data rich analytics products is highly preferred. This role will be critical in ensuring the AI-enabled capabilities in the product are of the highest quality and accuracy. Preference will be given to candidates with demonstrable experience in working with AI/ML products. The ideal candidate should have a keen eye for detail, excellent problem-solving skills, and a strong understanding of software testing methodologies.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, document, and execute test plans and test cases for both the core People Analytics features and the AI/ML functionality.
  • Perform various types of testing, including functional, regression, integration, performance, and usability testing.
  • Collaborate with data scientists and engineers to understand AI and machine learning models.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, customer success and professional services to ensure alignment on product requirements and quality goals
  • Validate the performance of diagnostic and predictive analytics models, ensuring they meet specified accuracy and performance metrics.
  • Test the integration of AI models into the product, including data input/output, accuracy of the model, performance of the model and end-user experience.
  • Identify, document, and track software defects and issues using bug tracking tools.
  • Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and resolve issues.
  • Conduct root cause analysis of identified defects and work with the development team to ensure timely resolution.
  • Ensure that software meets the established standards of quality, including reliability, usability, and performance.
  • Participate in requirement reviews, design reviews, and other team activities to ensure high-quality software delivery.
  • Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies to enhance software quality and team efficiency.


Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Proven experience (5+ years) as a QA Analyst or similar role, with experience in testing complex software products, preferably data intensive products with AI/ML capabilities.
  • Strong understanding of software testing principles, methodologies, and tools.
  • Demonstrable experience in validating AI/ML models and interpreting model outputs. Knowledge of machine learning algorithms, model training, validation techniques, and metrics for model performance (e.g., precision, recall, F1 score).
  • Demonstrable experience with data preprocessing, feature engineering, and understanding data pipelines
  • Experience with test management and bug tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail, Bugzilla).
  • Proficiency in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases.
  • Familiarity with automated testing tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, QTP, JUnit) is a plus.
  • Basic knowledge of programming languages such as Java, Python, or SQL is desirable.
  • Experience with Agile and Scrum methodologies.
  • Knowledge of continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) processes.
  • Understanding of performance testing and load testing tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner).
  • Certifications in software testing (e.g., ISTQB, CSQA, CSTE) are a plus.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to think critically and solve complex problems related to software quality and AI model performance.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Good communication skills and ability to explain complex issues clearly.
