MARS - Territory Sales Representative (PRO Pillar)

Covering Alberta and British Columbia with rare travel to Saskatchewan and Manitoba.

This role will require approx 15 nights overstay per year, with 4 days onsite.

What are we looking for?
  1. Create and implement territory coverage plans for optimal account coverage.
  2. Use Salesforce to manage partners and customer data.
  3. Forecast and build territory sales plan/Deliver on annual sales.
  4. Understand territory sales data and develop a unique strategy for growth.
  5. Attend appropriate/relevant events annually within your territory.
  6. Educate partners on Royal Canin and Eukanuba nutritional diets and programs.
  7. Recommend Royal Canin and Eukanuba nutritional and SOL solutions.
  8. Present customer programming and build estimated feeding guidelines/budget.
  9. Drive recommendations from partners.
  10. Recruit and source new partner acquisition across working professionals.
  11. Collaborate with PSRO and Vet Colleagues to drive PRO business and recommendations.
  12. Achieve profitable sales growth objectives within assigned territory by utilizing strong selling skills while developing and understanding customer needs to increase growth of sales.
  13. Develop and maintain strong customer relationships with key individuals within PRO customers and continue to identify new potential customers and set strategies to align customers for recommending Mars products as their primary diet for their clients.
  14. Collaborate with your team and other company associates to provide valuable contributions to the company and provide customer insights to your regional team.
  15. Attend and participate in events, regional and company meetings/conference calls as required.
  16. Complete weekly activity, expense, and other ad-hoc reporting as needed by your manager.
  17. Knowledge or interest in the pet professional/nutrition industry.
  18. Knowledge of basic sales principles.
  19. IT skills (proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Salesforce, Power BI, etc.) to support effective sales analysis and management of the territory.
What will be your key responsibilities?
  1. Responsible for driving sales and quality recommendations with partners within a specific geographical region.
  2. Responsible for the day-to-day management of key partners and existing partners.
  3. Recruit partners/new customers into Royal Canin and Eukanuba programs.
  4. Internal activity plus cross collaboration with other business units to drive strategic partnership and growth.
