Position Summary

Effective September 7th, 2021 all applicants must provide proof of full vaccination against Covid-19 (in the form of watermark receipts from the provincial portal) or provide written proof of a medical or religious reason for not being fully vaccinated as per the provincial direction as set out by the CMOH Directive 6.

Reporting to the Manager, Therapy Services, the incumbent will work as a member of an interdisciplinary team providing comprehensive assessment, treatment and management of patients with a variety of neurological and musculoskeletal diagnosis and medical conditions.

Education Requirements

  • Current registration with College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario
  • Membership in CAOT or OSOT is preferred

Mandatory Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years current Occupational Therapist experience preferably in a hospital setting is preferred

Mandatory Competencies

  • Demonstrated ability to function as an effective team member.
  • Excellent interpersonal, written and oral communication skills.
  • Demonstrated time management and organizational skills.
  • Demonstrated ability in working with a variety of patient populations within a hospital setting.
  • Demonstrated principles of safe patient handling
  • Reliable individual with excellent attendance record and able to work all shifts
