About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Occupational Therapist to join our interdisciplinary team at the Brantford General Hospital. As a member of our team, you will work closely with patients, families, and healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive assessment, treatment, and management of patients with neurological and musculoskeletal conditions.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough assessments of patients to identify their needs and develop effective treatment plans
  • Provide individualized therapy sessions to patients, focusing on rehabilitation and treatment of neurological and musculoskeletal conditions
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care and communication
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, families, and healthcare teams
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest research, best practices, and evidence-based treatments in occupational therapy
Requirements
  • Current registration with the College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario
  • Membership in the Canadian Association of Occupational Therapists (CAOT) or the Ontario Society of Occupational Therapists (OSOT) is preferred
  • Minimum 2 years of experience as an Occupational Therapist, preferably in a hospital setting
