Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Site Supervisor to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing construction projects from start to finish, ensuring they are completed safely, on time, and within budget. This role requires strong leadership and organizational skills, as well as the ability to interpret blueprints and schematics.

Duties:

  1. Performing regular inspections of the construction site to make sure established safety and cleanliness standards are met.
  2. Managing orders and deliveries of building materials.
  3. Completing site reports and other records.
  4. Organizing work schedules.
  5. Identifying potential safety hazards and managing them accordingly.
  6. Coordinating subcontractors and the construction team to meet contractual conditions of performance.
  7. Reviewing work progress on a daily basis and ensuring timely project delivery.
  8. Resolving onsite conflicts and handling any emergencies that may arise.
  9. Managing construction personnel and delegating tasks to meet deadlines.

Skills:

  1. Knowledge of building and construction methods.
  2. Proven experience as a Site Supervisor or in a similar role in construction.
  3. Ability to interpret building plans and blueprints.
  4. Knowledge of construction regulations and health and safety legislation.
  5. Driving skill is a must.
  6. Ability to remain calm and focused under pressure.
  7. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Work Location: As per the project location

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Day shift
  • Monday to Friday
  • Weekends as needed

Experience:

  • Construction: 1 year (preferred)

Work Location: In person
