The Navadian CHALLENGE:

  • Analyse, review and draft various types of contracts, including construction, subcontracting, supply and service contracts, in order to protect Navada's interests;

  • Co-ordinating contract terminations;

  • Manage legal disputes and claims, by coordinating with external insurance and legal firms to ensure proactive dispute management;

  • Advising and supporting teams on legal questions or issues related to construction projects, commercial agreements, day-to-day operations, etc. ;

  • Maintain a constant legal watch to keep up with legislative and regulatory changes, in order to adapt Navada's practices accordingly;

  • Updating and structuring the company's legal documentation, including internal policies, standard documentation, etc;

  • Educate and train internal team members on relevant legal issues by providing training on a variety of topics;

  • Participating in various mandates in collaboration with stakeholders from different departments.


Your profile:

  • Law degree with

  • Member of the Quebec Bar or the Chambre des notaires.

  • Minimum 5 years' experience, ideally in construction or business law.

  • Skills in risk analysis, litigation management and contract negotiation expertise.

  • Team player who enjoys cooperation and teamwork.
