Responsibilities include but not limited to Manual Cleaning of Sterile Supply Storage, Supply Carts, and all Case Carts located within MDRD. You will be responsible with cleaning exterior surfaces of reprocessing equipment e.g. sterilizers, washer disinfectors, and cart washer. You will also be responsible in cleaning counters, shelves, inside drawers, bins, tables, walls, and floors. Unload instrument/ sets from the washer disinfector and or cart washer. Transport to respective assembly table. Performs other related duties as assigned. Transport medical devices between OR and MDRD. You will be responsible for change overs in the Endo department and transporting dirty scopes to MDRD. Stocking and cleaning scope cabinets will also be your responsibility. Transporting patients will not be your responsibility.

As a Service Worker I, you will be responsible for transporting patients (clients/residents) and equipment to and from different patient care areas within a hospital site. You will distribute and replenish hospital supplies throughout the units and clean equipment and patient care areas as directed. You may also transport lab specimens, blood and blood products, and patient charts. You will report any concerns regarding supplies and safety issues to Unit Managers and perform other duties as required.

Grade 12 or equivalent.
