Central Alberta Co-op is hiring a full-time Division Manager, Home & Building Solutions, at our Administration Office in Red Deer, Alberta.
The Division Manager, Home & Building Solutions, plays a pivotal role in overseeing the day-to-day operations of our Home & Farm Centers. As a key member of the Senior Management team, this position contributes to organizational effectiveness and provides leadership within operational functions. The successful candidate will participate in the integration of products and services, manage projects to improve profitability and customer satisfaction, and ensure adherence to budgetary goals. Additionally, they will be responsible for managing a group of stores, developing and implementing programs and policies, and coaching and developing team members.
Full-time: 40 hours per week
Availability: Weekdays from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
Responsibilities:
- Plan, monitor, and manage projects to improve profitability and increase customer satisfaction.
- Develop and administer operating budgets to achieve budgeted goals.
- Manage a group of stores, overseeing the implementation of programs and policies.
- Coach and develop team members, providing direction and guidance.
- Contribute to the development of tactical and strategic plans.
- Monitor client satisfaction and adherence to brand standards.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety guidelines and procedures.
Qualifications:
- Post-secondary education in business or a related field.
- Certificates or equivalent training are considered assets.
- 8-12 years of relevant experience.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience leading clerical, technical, and/or professional staff.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to coach team members.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong decision-making skills based on competent analysis.
- Ability to handle multiple demands and work extended hours when required.
