Who are we?

XNRGY Climate Systems is a North American leader in sustainable design and advanced manufacturing of custom air handling systems, with a focus on research, energy development and carbon footprint reduction. XNRGY is currently seeking a Human Resources Business Partner, Operations, to join our team in St-Hubert. Reporting to the Chief Human Resources Officer, the successful candidate will support our St Hubert plant and act as a contact person, coach and HR expert for all plant employees.


An overview of your responsibilities:

Establish and maintain strong business relationships to effectively advise and guide the management team and plant employees on all human resources matters.

Understand the organization's operations and needs, identify human resources strategies and deploy value-added activities and initiatives, according to priorities established with leaders.

Take charge of, monitor and consolidate files relating to disability, accidents, parental leaves, etc.

Participate in various HR projects and initiatives (training, implementation of new processes, and any other projects in line with the plant's needs).

Act as a contact person for our employees on all matters relating to company policies and benefits.

Act as the employer's representative with the various legislative offices, when required: Labour Standards, WCB, CLP, etc.

Participate in production meetings, ensure follow-up, and produce the necessary reports.

Participates in the OHS Committee and all related activities.

Assess staff training needs, coordinate mandatory training programs and participate in their design, and propose an annual training schedule.

Manage working relationships and provide the framework and tools needed to foster a positive work environment in line with XNRGY's values.


What you'll need, among other things

  • Bachelor's degree in administration, Human Resources Management or Industrial Relations.
  • Member of the Ordre des CRHA, an asset.
  • Minimum of 3 to 5 years of relevant work experience in a similar role in the manufacturing sector.
  • In-depth knowledge of labour laws and human resources best practices.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Demonstrated leadership, influencing and mobilization skills.
  • Excellent communication skills (written/verbal in French and English).
  • Results-oriented and experience-driven.
  • Demonstrated ability to work harmoniously, efficiently and in close collaboration with the company's various departments.
  • Ability to manage a multitude of projects simultaneously and work in a fast-paced environment.
