Our client is one of the world's leading professional services networks, seeking an experienced Director focusing on Commercial Due Diligence and Customer Transformation to join their Advisory Services team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commercial due diligence, market analysis, pricing strategy, and enhancing sales force effectiveness. As a Director, you will play a pivotal role in guiding clients through critical business decisions by providing deep market insights and strategic advice.


Key Responsibilities


Commercial Due Diligence:


  • Lead comprehensive due diligence processes for clients engaged in mergers, acquisitions, or divestitures.
  • Evaluate target companies' commercial prospects, including market position, competitive landscape, customer segmentation, and growth potential.
  • Provide actionable insights and recommendations to inform investment decisions and acquisition strategies.


Market Analysis:


  • Conduct in-depth market research and analysis to identify trends, risks, and opportunities within specific industries or geographic regions.
  • Utilize advanced analytical tools and methodologies to forecast market developments and assess the impact on client businesses.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate market insights into broader strategic planning.


Pricing Analysis:


  • Develop and refine pricing models and strategies to optimize profitability and market competitiveness for clients.
  • Analyse pricing data, cost structures, and market dynamics to identify pricing opportunities and risks.
  • Advise clients on pricing best practices and support the implementation of effective pricing policies and frameworks.


Sales Force Effectiveness:


  • Assess the efficiency and effectiveness of clients' sales operations and strategies.
  • Drive enhancements in sales processes, incentive plans, and performance metrics to boost sales productivity and alignment with business goals.
  • Design and implement sales force transformation initiatives that result in sustainable improvements and measurable growth.


Qualifications


  • 8 – 12 years of experience in management consulting with a focus on commercial due diligence, customer transformation, and strategic advisory services.
  • Proven track record of leading successful due diligence engagements and delivering insightful analysis to high-profile clients.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and translate it into strategic recommendations.
  • Excellent leadership and team management abilities, with experience in mentoring and developing junior staff.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, capable of articulating insights and strategies to senior executives and stakeholders.
  • A bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Finance, or related fields. An MBA or relevant advanced degree is highly preferred.
