• Advise senior management on product safety matters
• Develop SMS (Safety Management System) standards and tools
• Develop SMS training material and provide training
• Assess effectiveness of SMS deployment
• Participate in consultative organizations / groups in the industry
• Lead and coordinate product safety activities within Bombardier
• Travel frequently on Bombardier premises, all over the world
• Manage strategic projects by coordinating multidisciplinary teams
• Perform risk analysis and develop contingency plans
• Facilitate problem solving work sessions
• Define and map business processes (operational and transactional)
• Develop communication material.
• You possess a technical college degree or bachelor’s in aerospace or in another technical related field
• You have a minimum of 4 to 7 years of relevant experience in the aerospace industry, including in the Maintenance environment
• You are knowledgeable of SMS related regulations and international standards (SM-0001)
• You have experience with project management principles and tools (an asset)
• You have experience with risk management principles and tools (an asset)
• You possess strategic outlook
• You demonstrate teamwork abilities
• You possess leadership skills
• You are innovative
• You possess strong interpersonal skills
• You are skilled at influencing others
• You are bilingual in written and oral French and English (essential);
• You master the Microsoft Office suite.
