Job Description: Sales Representative –Montreal, South Shore and Western Quebec Territory (Bilingual: English and French)
Job Summary: Alendel Fabrics is actively seeking a full-time permanent Sales Representative for the Montreal, South Shore and Western Quebec region. The Sales Representative will be responsible for formulating and executing strategic sales plans, identifying growth opportunities, nurturing customer relationships, expanding and maintaining a network of sources, and achieving sales targets through business-to-business interactions. The role involves travel throughout the assigned territory for company representation at tradeshows, meetings, and conferences.
Reports to: This is a full-time permanent position reporting to the Director of Sales Canada.
Responsibilities:
- Research and identify growth opportunities.
- Cultivate and maintain a network of sources to discover new leads.
- Enhance and expand sales within an existing customer dealer base.
- Prospect and cultivate business with new customers, channels of distribution, and markets.
- Forecast sales and implement innovative sales strategies.
- Develop clear and effective written proposals/quotations for current and prospective customers.
- Attend tradeshows, meetings, conferences, and educational events.
- Travel extensively within the assigned territory for company representation and to achieve sales goals.
- Leverage technology and social media for new business development.
- Service existing customers and provide support.
- Maintain positive relationships with customers.
- Update, educate, and train customers on products and applications.
Desired Skills and Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years of sales/territory management experience (industry experience desirable but not required).
- Reside within the Greater Montreal Area is preferred but not mandatory.
- Effective problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently with self-motivation and a drive to succeed.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (including Excel and PowerPoint) and working knowledge of Microsoft Teams.
- Strong negotiating and closing skills.
- Valid driver's license.
- Excellent communication skills in both English and French, both written and verbal.

Salary: Approximately $70,000.00+ per year with unlimited earning potential
