About the Position

ATS Traffic is currently looking for a seasonal Customer Service Professional (CSP) to join our team in Edmonton, Alberta for the 2024 season. This is an excellent opportunity for anyone with hospitality, customer service, and/or sales background looking for their first experience working within a professional setting or someone eager to learn new skills

This position is the first point of contact for customers looking to rent or purchase equipment from ATS. The CSP will handle inquiries for quotes, rentals, deliveries, and pick-ups, as well as customer concerns, taking orders via phone, email, and walk-in.

Our ideal candidate is a positive team player with superior time management skills. They will utilize their analytical and mathematical skills to serve our customers in a prompt and professional manner. Responsibilities

  • Data Entry: accurately processing quotes, orders, jobs, and tickets for various systems
  • Answer and direct all incoming calls, greet walk-in customers
  • Handle inquiries for quotes, orders, deliveries, and pick-ups, as well as customer concerns
  • Build and maintain customer relationships
  • Determine customer needs and opportunities for sales
  • Provide prompt responses to customers regarding products, pricing, and availability
  • Demonstrate superior time management, organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritization skills day to day
Qualifications
  • Approximately 2 years’ experience in customer service and/or sales
  • Previous experience working in the traffic control/construction industry is preferred but will consider other experience
  • Proficient computer literacy with Microsoft Office 365: Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong organizational and planning capabilities
  • Self-motivated
  • Strong sense of team and collaboration
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Positive and professional attitude
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a high-functioning team
  • Use of discretion, confidentiality, and integrity
  • Preference will be given to candidates with prior SalesPad or TCR experience
