Position Summary

Under the direction of the Marketing Director, the Social Media Manager will be responsible for the creation and execution of our social media strategy. Do you have solid social media experience, excellent communication skills and a keen eye for detail? This position is for you We're looking for a confident leader who can guide cross-functional teams in creating content and increasing engagement with our community


Main Job Tasks, Duties and Responsibilities

· Develop and manage social media strategies across various channels: Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest, LinkedIn…

· Analyze data and performance metrics to measure the effectiveness of campaigns, making data-driven decisions to improve ROI.

· Collaborate with the creative team to produce high-quality marketing materials, including graphics, videos, and written content.

· Manage the social media and influencer budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources to maximize impact.

· Stay up to date with the latest industry trends, tools, and technologies to keep our marketing efforts cutting-edge.

· With the support of our Digital Content Specialist and Marketing Coordinator:

· Execute and optimize our social media platforms, creating engaging content that resonates with our target audience.

· Oversee the company’s website, ensuring it is user-friendly, up-to-date, and optimized for SEO.

· Develop and execute email marketing strategies.

· Manage relationships with influencers, including identifying potential partners, negotiating agreements, and overseeing campaign execution to ensure alignment with brand goals.


Education and Experience

· Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.

· 3+ years of experience in digital marketing, preferably in a managerial role.

· Experience in the beauty industry, an asset.


Key Competencies

· Proven experience in developing, directing, and implementing social media plans.

· Knowledge of design software (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, etc.), an asset.

· Fluent in English and French (spoken, read, and written), required.

· A high level of computer skills is required (MS Office).

· Proven track record of successful digital marketing campaigns.

· Strong understanding of social media marketing, email marketing, content marketing, and influencer marketing.

· Experience managing relationships with influencers.

· Confidence to lead internal teams and customer relationships.

· Good interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.

· Excellent time management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and operate in a fast-paced work environment.

· Organized and able to prioritize workload.

· Ability to work independently and collaboratively with others.

· Strong conceptual ability and excellent attention to details.

· Must be flexible to provide support for high workloads.
