Lead High-Impact Solutions as a Senior Java & jBPM Production Support Engineer – Drive Innovation with Java, jBPM, and CI/CD Expertise


About the Role:

We seek a highly skilled Senior Java & jBPM Production Support Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you’ll provide L3 production support, develop workaround fixes, and perform root cause analysis (RCA) for critical production issues. You'll leverage your expertise in jBPM, Java, Spring Boot, and messaging queues to design and implement solutions that ensure system stability and performance. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced engineer who thrives in a fast-paced, problem-solving environment.


Key Responsibilities:

  • L3 Production Support: Provide L3-level production support for mission-critical applications, resolving complex issues efficiently and precisely.
  • RCA & Fixes: Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) for production incidents and develop workaround fixes to minimize downtime and disruption.
  • jBPM/RHPAM Process Design: Design, implement, and optimize business process management workflows using jBPM and RHPAM (Red Hat Process Automation Manager).
  • Drools Rules Development: Build and manage business rules using Drools, ensuring seamless integration into business processes.
  • Java & Spring Boot Expertise: Lead backend development using Java and Spring Boot, ensuring scalable, high-performance applications.
  • RESTful Web Services: Develop and maintain RESTful APIs to enable integration across services and platforms and ensure smooth data flow.
  • Messaging Queues: Utilize JMS, AMQ, or Kafka to manage real-time messaging and ensure reliable, scalable communication between services.
  • CI/CD Integration: Implement and optimize CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins or TeamCity to ensure smooth, automated deployments and reduce time to market.
  • Collaboration & Troubleshooting: Work closely with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve production issues while maintaining open lines of communication with key stakeholders.
  • Continuous Improvement: Stay current with the latest technologies and best practices in production support, always looking for ways to improve efficiency and reduce production incidents.


Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in L3 production support, with a strong track record of delivering workaround fixes and conducting RCA for production issues.
  • Expertise in jBPM/RHPAM process design and implementation.
  • Strong command over Java, Spring Boot, and RESTful Web Services development.
  • Solid understanding of messaging queues like JMS, AMQ, or Kafka.
  • Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or TeamCity.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced production environment.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
