Résumé du poste :
Le Directeur des opérations (COO) de BusPas sera le fer de lance de nos opérations, de nos ventes et de nos stratégies de déploiement, en exploitant la puissance des partenariats pour mettre à grande échelle nos solutions innovantes. Vous travaillerez en étroite collaboration avec le chef de la technologie et de l'innovation qui dirige une équipe polyvalente de développeurs de logiciels, de chercheurs et de contractants externes, conduisant la mise en œuvre de notre écosystème d'IA dans le cadre de divers projets. Votre vision stratégique, votre expertise opérationnelle et votre capacité à favoriser les collaborations seront cruciales pour faire évoluer notre startup vers une mise à l'échelle rapide et vers notre prochaine étape de financement.
Principales responsabilités :
- Développer et affiner des stratégies opérationnelles alignées sur la mission et les objectifs de croissance de BusPas.
- Diriger et développer les opérations, les ventes, le marketing et le développement des affaires, en assurant une intégration et un déploiement transparents de l'écosystème BusPas.
- Forger et entretenir des partenariats stratégiques avec les agences de transport et les acteurs urbains afin de faciliter la mise en œuvre à grande échelle.
- Coordonner avec l'équipe de direction et les membres du conseil d'administration l'alignement des stratégies opérationnelles sur les objectifs généraux de l'entreprise.
- Diriger les efforts de collecte de fonds de l'entreprise pour le financement de démarrage et au-delà, en tirant parti d'une compréhension approfondie de l'écosystème des startups et des paysages d'investissement.
Compétences et qualifications :
- Expérience avérée dans un poste de COO ou un rôle équivalent dans un environnement de startup, de préférence dans les secteurs de l'informatique, de l'IoT, de l'IA ou de la ville intelligente.
- Solides compétences en leadership, avec des antécédents de gestion d'équipes et de projets diversifiés jusqu'à leur aboutissement.
- Excellentes capacités de gestion des relations et de communication, capables de s'engager avec des partenaires, des investisseurs et des parties prenantes à tous les niveaux.
- Compréhension approfondie des processus de planification opérationnelle, financière et stratégique.
- Familiarité avec le paysage des villes intelligentes, y compris les dynamiques technologiques, réglementaires et de marché.
- Esprit d'entreprise et capacité à identifier les opportunités d'innovation et de croissance.
- Baccalauréat ou maîtrise en administration des affaires, en ingénierie ou dans un domaine connexe.

Position Summary:
The Chief Operating Officer (COO) at BusPas will spearhead our operations, sales, and deployment strategies, harnessing the power of partnerships to scale our innovative solutions. You will work closely with the CTO who leads a multifaceted team of software developers, researchers, and external contractors, driving the implementation of our AI ecosystem across various projects. Your strategic foresight, operational expertise, and adeptness at fostering collaborations will be crucial in navigating our startup through rapid scaling and into our next funding milestone.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and refine operational strategies aligned with BusPas’ mission and growth objectives.
- Lead and expand the operational, sales, marketing, and business development, ensuring seamless integration and deployment of the BusPas ecosystem.
- Forge and nurture strategic partnerships with transit agencies, and urban stakeholders to facilitate broad-scale implementation.
- Coordinate with the executive team and board members to align operational strategies with overall business goals.
- Drive the company’s fundraising efforts for seed A funding and beyond, leveraging a deep understanding of the startup ecosystem and investment landscapes.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Proven experience in a COO or equivalent role within a startup environment, preferably in the IT, IoT, AI, or smart city sectors.
- Strong leadership skills, with a track record of managing diverse teams and projects to successful completion.
- Excellent relationship management and communication abilities, capable of engaging with partners, investors, and stakeholders at all levels.
- Deep understanding of operational, financial, and strategic planning processes.
- Familiarity with the smart city landscape, including technological, regulatory, and market dynamics.
- Entrepreneurial mindset, with a keen eye for identifying opportunities for innovation and growth.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
Compensation:
A competitive compensation package, including a base salary, performance bonuses, and equity options, will be offered. The package is designed to attract the best talent and will be commensurate with experience and the unique value the COO brings to BusPas.
Location:
This position is based at our headquarters in Montreal, Quebec, Canada, with the expectation of occasional travel for partnership development, team coordination, and strategic meetings.
